EDC was retained in 1998 to advise Hollins on the design and construction of the Wetherill Visual Arts Center (VAC). In 1999, during fundraising for the VAC, the renovation of the Dining Hall in the Moody Student Center became a high priority. EDC was retained to select and lead a design and construction team through fast-track renovation of this facility. EDC has continued its relationship with Hollins University on five subsequent projects, including master planning and the renovation of Swannanoa and Presser Halls.
