Emory & Henry College

The central campus of Emory & Henry College, located in the Virginia highlands, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Register of Historic Landmarks. In 2005, E&H asked EDC to manage the development of small scale apartment-style student housing in the surrounding Village of Emory. The development included construction of the first two of nine buildings around a common area. One of the goals of design of the 21-bed buildings was to maintain the character of the 1920's neighborhood. This fast-track project was completed in six months.
