American Hebrew Academy
Greensboro, North Carolina

The American Hebrew Academy is the nation's first and only pluralistic Jewish boarding school. EDC was retained as Construction Manager in the summer of 1999, following the selection of Architect, Aaron G. Green, FAIA, and charged with the task of opening the campus in two years. Classes began on September 10, 2001. Construction continues on the 100-acre, 80-building campus, which includes the largest closed-loop geothermal well field in the world. The project features Jerusalem Stone imported from Israel, custom Ludowici clay tile roofs and Crittal steel windows imported from the UK as significant design treatments of the buildings.
