In 1991, The Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center selected EDC as the developer for Research Building III. Since 1991, EDC has completed seventeen projects totaling over 600,000 square feet of new office and laboratory space. The VTCRC is located on 120 acres of rolling pasture immediately adjacent to Virginia Tech, the largest research university in Virginia. The VTCRC is home to over 100 research and technology based companies with over 1,500 employees.
