In 2006, EDCO, LLC asked EDC to manage the retail site development of a 90-acre mixed-use project in Midlothian, Virginia. This lifestyle center, comprising approximately 550,000 square feet, will include such national anchor tenants as WalMart, JCPenney and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Restaurants will include Osaka Japanese restaurant, a drive-through Starbucks and others. The site required permitting from the Corps of Engineers and the Department of Environmental Quality to allow for development. This project is scheduled for completion in 2009.
