The Opportunity
EDC is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to assist the Human Resources Leader. This job is for eager learners who are comfortable with shifting priorities and tasks ranging from administrative functions to payroll and recruiting. This is not a remote position. No travel is required.
What You’ll Do
- Payroll and expense management for the whole company.
- Coordinate with candidates during the recruitment process to schedule interviews.
- Act as the first point of contact, monitor and answer emails and calls for HR related matters. Answer routine questions. Route emails, calls, and questions as appropriate.
- Maintain an organized filing system for both physical and digital documents to enhance accessibility.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth operations.
- Assist with new hire orientations and associated onboarding tasks to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Respond promptly to employee questions and requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Expect from You
- Proficiency with iSolved or other HRIS.
- Experience working in a construction-related field is a plus.
- Proven experience or interest in payroll, HR, or talent acquisition.
- Relationship building with employees across various levels and groups.
- Strong sense of urgency, ownership, and follow-through.
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively with team members.
- Confidentiality regarding pay, personal information, and other HR proprietary information.
